Our journey began because of my first son, Cooper. From the moment he was 10 months old, our life became a constant battle to keep him comfortable.
His tiny body was covered in eczema, his sheets were blood-stained from scratching and we were all so tired. As a mother, watching your child in agony and not being able to fix it is utterly heart breaking.

We spent years going back and forth to GPs and dermatologists, always being told the same thing: more creams, stronger steroids, more medication. Nothing worked. His eczema only worsened, and eventually, he developed asthma too. Sleepless nights, endless hospital visits, tears, and frustration became part of our everyday life.

Eventually, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I began researching everything I could about natural, homeopathic, and holistic alternatives. It wasn’t easy, and at times it was terrifying, but slowly we began to see signs of hope. Cooper’s skin started calming, his asthma improved, and for the first time in years, he didn’t need his inhaler daily.

Through this journey, I realised how little awareness and support there was for families going through similar struggles, and how few options existed for truly gentle, safe clothing for children with sensitive skin. That’s when Coops Clothing was born.

Founded in 2021, Coops Clothing is my way of turning pain into purpose. I wanted to create timeless, unisex babywear made only from GOTS-certified organic cotton, naturally hypoallergenic, ultra-soft, and free from harmful chemicals and pesticides. Organic cotton not only feels better on delicate skin, but it’s also kinder to the planet and the people who grow it.
